We have just returned from this beautiful place after spending 4 nights there (two adults and a Chihuahua puppy). Everything was absolutely perfect! Communication from the very beginning was excellent. The pod was spotless, fresh, and beautifully scented. Beckie thought of every little detail that made our stay truly ideal. There was even a free hamper for both guests and our dog. We were pleasantly surprised to find useful extras such as a clothes dryer, iron, and vacuum cleaner already provided – we brought our own but didn’t need them at all!
We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!

We loved our stay at Hillcroft Farm Pod. Beckie is a wonderful and very caring host. The pods are superbly equipped, with great attention to detail. In the evening, we barbecued on the fire pit with a great view of the lake. Thank you, Beckie!

What a wonderful discovery we have made! The attention to detail is second to none- from everything to the complimentary s'mores kit, the dog basket to the selection of goodies to make us feel instantly welcome and at home. Idyllic views and walks and the host was amazing from the moment we booked. Cozy, comforting and simply the best get away! We will definitely be back soon!
Had such a lovely holiday in the Hayfield Haven pod, it was comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated, it felt like a proper little home away from home. The seating outside is perfect for making the most of the spectacular view over the lake and on clear nights is a great spot for stargazing! Beckie was an amazing host, so friendly and welcoming, she also shared some amazing walks around the area which the pod made the perfect base for. Nearby is the Plough Inn, only 5-10 minutes walk and the food is absolutely amazing! Cannot fault the pod at all, I hope to be back soon!
This was our second stay at Lake View Lodge and once again it was absolutely perfect. The pod is so cute and it has everything you could need. The finishing touches are super high end and they really have thought of everything. The location is beautiful and we did a lovely walk around the lake. We went as a girls trip but it would be equally great for a family or couple. The host Rebekah was extremely helpful and informative and you can tell she takes a huge amount of pride in looking after her guests. Will hopefully be back soon!

What can I say?! It was mine and my boyfriend’s first weekend away together and it couldn’t have been more magical. Beckie was a fantastic host and kept in touch in the lead up and during our stay. The pods are so cute and in the most beautiful setting. Can’t fault it and would 100% go back again
I grew up in Crowhurst and my own family has grown larger so we stayed Hillcroft Farm Pods while visiting Family in the Village.
From the minute we pulled into the car park we were in awe of both the property, view and Pod itself. We stayed in the larger of the two and it was just luxuriously furnished and every thing you could need for a stay had been thought of.
The sun would rise and views of the sunrise/sunset were phenomenal. We used the fire pit for a family evening event. Sat on the Adirondack chairs having morning coffee.
The owner Becky spared no expense and thought of everything you could need.
Unfortunately my visit was somewhat cut short by illness but I will 100% return.

Excellent place to stay, great, private and secluded countryside location, pub with good food just a short walk away and everything you need for a relaxing stay away with the family (or friends). Lovely host and really well designed set up, would definitely go back.
From start to finish this mini break for us has been perfect and just what was needed. I booked this pod for my partner’s birthday. The attention to detail in the pod is exceptional. Rebekah has been kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. My partner, myself and our dogs have been well and truly looked after. We parked In the car park and as we walked around the corner the first thing my partner and I said to each other was "wow". The view is beautiful. The pod exceeded our expectations and everything and more we needed was there. Even a hamper basket to make popcorn and s’more’s, and the best for us was the hamper basket for our dogs, such a thoughtful thing to do. Looking forward to coming back soon.
This is a perfect place to escape from the city! The pod is so cosy it's fully equipped and it has a outstanding wonderful view. Lovely customer communication!
Great place to stay, lovely view, everything was tidy, interior was chosen with lots of love and the children and husbands love the firepit.

We (family of 4) had a great time in the "Lakeview Lodge" pod. We really enjoyed making popcorn and smores above the firepit in front of the pod, while enjoying the nice view on the lake and its surroundings. The pod was very clean and well equipped for its size. The two pods are managed by a very hospitable host (we got ingredients for making popcorn and smores and home-grown courgettes), who was super friendly, easy to reach and she provided us with clear information on the pods as well as on activities in the surroundings. We would definitely recommend this place!

This has been such a lovely trip for a little getaway. This place has something magical about it 💫 Not sure whether it's the cosy interior, the amazing views or the wonderful host Becky, probably all of the above. All the personal touches make this place so special! Our favourite activity was the church communal breakfast!
